Short Entry Tonight

I didn't do any walking today. I slept late instead, and I don't really feel too badly about that. I have only missed one other day in over a month, so I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I am trying to build the habit, though, so tomorrow I will do 2 miles at least. I can kind of tell physically that I miss the workout, because I'm vaguely restless and tight across the shoulders.

Unrelated to exercise or eating, but definitely related to the Happiness Project, I was delighted to find out that Ryan has joined the choir as a tenor, which means that now I will have someone to copy. I can read music alright, but I do much better when I have someone else to follow. He's also very funny and rather than twisting in tuneless misery through choir practice tonight, I had a really good time and managed to sing out much better than usual. So YAY!

    Even the experts recommend a day off from exercise once a week or so. It gives the muscles a chance to recover and repair.

    Glad you have someone to copy in choir! The world needs both, those to set the key, and those who key off of them.
